Ok...as I told you - my dear blog friends - some time ago... I´m totally addicted to facebook. And I have to say I think that´s the reason I became such bad blogger.

I´m working on new bears if I find the time...to be honest I HAVE to ;) as I´m working on a limited edition order.

I´m so sorry for not updating my blog...I´m just hooked on facebook...I´m really sorry...I know this is NO excuse.
I´ve been busy with family and with some other crafting - e.g. I found back to create some typewriter keys jewelery.
But I was ALSO creating new bears & friends.

Well...time´s running....
we had to celebrate a few birthdays...
we are back to everyday routine...
and I´m working on new bears and critters.

As promised...finally here are three new bears.
First one is Caspar ..he´s in my favorite halloween theme colour black ond orange.
With his striped shoe-button-eye he looks quiet crazy..but I think that´s ok for Halloween. :)
Next one is Raffi. (well..I guess Tatjana knows where this name comes from lol).
He also has two different eyes.

Last one is Ronja. As a "Lady" she´s not that "dusty & dirty" as the boys are ;) and she has two similar "normal" eyes.

Yesterday our youngest had his first day at school.

Now all three boys are at school.
Tomorrow school holidays are finally over and I hopefully will have time to start some bears again too.
There were two new creatures...just hop over to my other blog to visit them.

busy week

It was a busy last week.
First of all we had the usual busy time...preparing for school, soccer, LineDance etc and finally we celebrated our neighbors 18th birthday with a great party. Saturday was busy with Line Dance. We first had severalshows at the shopping center, later we were dancing at the Dallgower Kulturtage.

We started dancing at 13:30h and ended abou 18h....and as you may see it was a very sunny and hot day.

Yesterday we had summer again and kids could enjoy the swimmingpool the first time of the year.

today we had sun and rain...not that great ...but I found my Poppy blooming...and as I was just playing with a new software I wanted to share these pics...

Yesterday I joined a garagesale...we´ve been 6 and had lots of fun...and we had SUN! (I burnt my skin...)

Western-weekend

Last weekend my linedance group and I visited a "Western-town".
It´s called El Dorado and is located in Templin, 1 1/2 hour north from Berlin.
We went there for a linedance party in the evening.
Weather wasn´t fun...only rain. So we couldn´t really enjoy everything there...but being there with the group really was fun. And the party was fun too (I think I have to mention those yummy cocktails lol)
Here are some pics...

I liked the decoration in the clothes shop, but you weren´t allowed to take pictures.
As I asked why, they told me it just means they don´t want the people to try all those clothes (vintage style ones too ) and make photosessions... but of cause I was allowed to photograph the decoration.

And...finally...we visited the photoshop and made those funny "vintage style" pictures...
It really was fun!

A day at the zoo...

For father´s day yesterday we decided to visit the zoo. (Not the one in Berlin - we went to the one in Eberswalde. Bit smaller but with much more playgrounds for the kids and it seems as if the animals were much closer.)

What I liked most, was the "House of Mouses"...it was decorated the vintage style...I so fell in love . ;))

And look at those...I usually saw zebras only standing and doing nothing...but they are fun.

And I like those...

Look what great stuff I found today:

An old wooden trunk, an antique suitcase ( was from an old children grammophon), a vintage tin,

I love this old wooden shoe last and the old hoe.

The book "Fliegende Blätter" is a collection of vintage papers... such great ephemera!

Next pic is called "strollers of the future". ;)

I also found lots of books and CD´s and a outdoor-game for the boys... so everyone should be happy today! ;)

We nearly prepared everything for easter tomorrow.
We´ve been to the easter fire today and we had a little LineDance perfomance.
Back home now hubby and Leon have banned me from the kitchen and do some secret preparations lol.
Tomorrow we will have breakfast with PiL´s, Sister in Law and nices. Tomorrow night out to the next easter fire (and LineDance performance) and back to have a little party.

So HAPPY sunny EASTER to all of you!

on tour with jutta!

Last year we gave this to our friends as a birthday present. A tour with a comedy bus. They really did enjoy it and themselves now gave it to her father as a gift - and of cause we had to join them.
It was our thirdd trip and it was really fun again!
This time we first stooped just in front of the Kongresshalle and 4 guest had a competition in Hula Hoop.

After the "champion" was found we were offered a "Futschi" (coke/brandy).

Next stop was the" museum of letters" http://www.buchstabenmuseum.de/

The tour was filmed...will let you know as soon as I find the vid online!
I´m sure this was not our last tour with Jutta!

OK...I think I finally finished hibernation and I am back to posting and crafting!
Seems as if all the snow was just lying on my creativity...

But with the sun no longer hiding, with seeing the green again, I´m getting alive again too.
And...green...that´s it... here´s what took me out of the hibernation... those two St-Patricks Day MakeDo´s.

I hope these shamrocks also will bring me luck to continue crafting again ;-)

a book!

Well...actually I´m still reading "Vergebung" by Stieg Larson.

I´m stuck to his three books since last summer.

Had a long time "off" with not reading but listening to audiobooks.

Anyway...also last summer Fabina got a new book from My MiL...but to be honest it´s still a bit too much for him...Leon wanted to read it but we wanted Fabian to be the first for this book.

Now today we found three of the Spiderwick Chronicles books at the library and Leon chose it to read with me in the evening. We only read the first chapter....I guess he continued...

And guess what I did...I was sitting in the kitchen...reading the same book ( the one from Fabian) and just finished it... lol

Ok...I´m usually not into elves...but it was really fun to read!

And I´m sure we´ll continue the whole chronicals....

;-)

The last days I heard very good news - a friend is pregnant...expecting the baby in summer.

But I also heard bad news...about an other friend now going seperated ways with her husband...they have two boys I really hope they make the right decision.

And I´m also thinking of our neighbors´boy - a friend of Leon - who´s at hospital since christmas...

And I don´t forget about those who left us this year....

Let´s see what 2010 will bring... let´s hope for the very best!

Well...that´s it...I love it...and also I hate it...

Yesterday I took the time with the boys for baking.

What does this mean?

I have to shop everything we need...among lots of people who just seem to think Christmas is just tomorrow and there´s no more time for shopping...

I have to prepare the kitchen...

I have to clean the kitchen the first time while the dough is getting ready...

I have to prepare everything to cut the cookies...

I have to help to cut the cookies...

I have to bake the cookies...

I have roll the dough agian and again...

I have to clean the kitchen again...

I have to prepare everything to decorate the cookies...

I have to vacuum-clean inbetween cause Dennis just turned a bottle of decorating granulate...

I have to decorate the rest ...

I have to take Fabian to soccer as time just was running too fast...

I have to clean the kitchen again...

I just feel so ill from nibbling...

And after the boys went to bed I had to bake a cheese cake for the kindergarden today...

Well..to be honest we do not have thanksgiving over here in Germany but to all my international friends who do have I´m sending my greetings!
We´re preparing for the first advent.
I´m busy decorating the house, busy with taking the kids to swimming school, busy taking them to the dentist, stopping at my PiL´s where Fabian has to prapare for the little Christmas Market next sunday as he´s going to make music there with the other granchilds of my PiL.
Yepp...that´s it...over here. You see as always if it´s coming to the time of the ear everything should get a bit more cozy and slow and calm - to be honest its getting more busy lol.

I´m really busy in making bears at the moment...but with soccer matches, visits to the dentist, going to the swimming school with the boys...it´s not that easy. Normally the evening is my time of the day for bearmaking...but yesterday I nearly fell asleep at the table ;-)

Anyway...I finished two new bears and took pictures of them yesterday.

Both are - that´s new for my bears - flled with sheep´s wool AND mineralgranulat in the tummy.

Last wednesday we had the first snow!
Well...ok...it was directly followed by rain and didn´t last... but Fabian enjoyed the short time playing in the snow outside.

I have to be busy...it´s just one more week to the Teddybaerlinale and I really need to work on some more bears.

My little Halloween-Cutie arrived today - just in time for Halloween - Thanks again Kelly for this wonderful little guy who already found a place in my Halloween decoration.

Today I finally found those candy eyes...perferct for decoration...

We spend the day in Klaistow on a farm ( I was talking about earlier too) and DH and Leon had fun while climbing in a climbing parcours and the other boys and I enjoyed the pumpkins.

3. Heute bei der Arbeit habe ich noch einiges vorzubereiten.

5. Wenn ich einen Fehler mache kann ich dies auch ( meist) zugeben.
6. Als ich heute morgen aufwachte war ich noch müde.
7. Was das Wochenende angeht, heute abend freue ich mich auf das Bärenmachen, morgen habe ich aufräumen & Sport geplant und Sonntag möchte ich auf dem Flohmarkt verkaufen !

Line Dance

Yesterday we had our first Line Dance performance.

We are beginners and started dancing in June/ July.

Yesterday we were dancing at the 10th anniversary of the SV Seeburg.

Today we had our second performance in Wustermark at the "Brunnenfest".

There was a country band and lots of line dancers (many "old" ones )- but I think we did our performance just fine.

There are only very short vids as the cam was full already...sorry.

Friday we spend the day at a Farm .

At the moment there a large Corn maze ( Maislabyrinth) and in the end the kids can take a bath in the corn. We had lots of fun.

We also picked lots of blueberrys and the kids had fun at the big playground.

It was such a great day with the first signs of fall....

The next day we spent at the Walt Disney Studios.

There were lots of really great and wonderful shows! Very impressing!

We had lunch at the Lucky Nugget again...as it was so much fun for the boys o meet the characters there and getting their autographs etc.

The pic above shows us helping Buzz Lightyear...it was the favorite attraction of Leon...and by the way DH also was very proud to improve his highscore with every ride lol.

Thursday was spent again at both parcs...watching a few more shows and parades.

We had our last Dinner at the Inventions Restaurant in the Disney hotel. We were told the characters wont be there...but they were! And we had such a wonderful buffett! Great - I forgot to take pictures..but it was really good!

We met more characters...and DUM became our favorite as he was having so much fun with us!

We finished our trip with some more rides in the early friday morning followed by some shopping.

As I´m totally in love with Halloween and love the nightmare before christmas, I got a mug and a ring from Jack.

(One of the boys took this picture...I didn´t realize what kind of pics they were taking while I was shopping ;-) )

At 11 we left and the trip home lasts 12 hours....

Happy to be home again...but had a wonderful time and I hope the boys won´t forget about it!

Back from EuroDisney - 1

Hi - here I am again!

Back home from our 5-days-trip to Euro Disney Resort Paris.

We started our trip at 10 in the evening...prepared by sleeping the day...but it was exhausting... Dh was driving all the time...I was prepared to drive too if he would have been tired...but no need for it...he did the whole thing on his own ( lucky me lol)but I couldn´t sleep too..too much excitement, too much coffee...we arrived at about seven in the morning at the Davy Crockett Ranch to get our tickets and could enter the parc just at the very early opening at 8 in the morning.

We spent the day in the parc, had lunch at the Lucky Nugget restaurant meeting some of the disney characters -the boys were so happy ( well at least they did sleep during the night)...and in the evening we went back to the ranch to get our room and visit the pool.

The next day started with getting breakfast at 7:30 ! We didn´t really manage to visit the parc as early as the day before!

We visited the Disney Parc again....for Dinner we visited the Buffalo Bill Wild West show. Especially Dennis enjoed Mickey being a cowboy!

After the show we went back to the parc and later in the evening it was time for the illuminated parade and the fireworks.

Holidays

Time to blog again - sorry for not blogging the last days!

First we had Dennis´ birthdayparty - he wanted to have a pirates-birthday and we had much fun with him, his little guests and their treasure hunt.

Two days later we went for holidays to Ruegen ( Rugia/Baltic Sea).

The first day we visited the "king´s chair" - the most majestic part of the chalk cliffs .

The second and third day we just had some relaxing days at the beach in Glowe. There´s a wonderful beach...here´s a "busy" pic..

And this is how it looked like in the next morning....

The last day we went down the isle to visit the wonderful Pier in Sellin.

Back home now we prepare for the next trip...a week in Paris / EURODISNEY !

I´m sure it´ll be big fun for the boys but will also be exhausting....

Ok...Last wednesday the boys went with my Parents in law to get their new baby-dog.
My P-i-l´s had a baby-beagle last yaer, but the ppor sweet Paula died from some poison with only 4 months.
This year they decided to get a dog again.
Here he is - Paul...also called Paule.
He´s 6 1/2 weeks old and the boys are so happy with him.

They will stay with my P-i-l´s this weekend and enjoy Paule and DH and me we will enjoy the weekend ;-))
We are going for some shopping and in the evening visit the little shop of horror with friends.

I joined the new part of our Sportsclub - the Linedancers!

On sunday we are invited to one of our mebers. It´s her hubby´s birthday and she wants us to show some dances.

Well we are just beginners but having lots of fun.

Ok...here Iam again...had a couple of non-blogging-days...sorry about that!

I just - finally - finished my taxes and can now go for thing I do like much more!

What happend in between?

We had a couple of summerfestivals at the kindergarden, the school and the soccer.

We had a little accident - Fabian cut his fingertip.

I sold a few bears and do have orders for new ones - so I better should start over bearmaking ;-)

Tomorrow is the last day at school and I´m looking forward to work in the garden.

Rocky

I sitting here...typing with tears in my eyes....

Today we had to say goodbye to Rocky.

As I told before he was ill, vet said it is FIP. He also seemed to have a tumor in the intestine .

He didn´t eat much, we gave him whatever he loved, chicken, ground meat, ...anything..but he only took two or three bits...

Yesterday he seemd as if he wanted me to stay with him most of the time...he was lying in the garden and I took some last pictures of him. I took the time to caress him and to say good bye.

Today he was only lying behind his basket, hardly eating or doing anything.

I called Lars and told him I think we should take Rocky to the vet to put him to sleep.

Lars came in the evening and also said it seems to be time...so we let the kids say goodbye and went to the vet.

He didn´t really like driving...and at the vet we did stroke him as he noticed a dog and that seemd to be too much ... he kind of rebeld and then he did his last breathes...

The vet only could confirm ha was gone....

At home we (with the kids) buried him in the garden .

I must say I´m very happy Rocky took the decision himself...and I did not have to let him put to sleep.

And I´m very very thankful for the wonderful time we had.

Now we´ll see how Gordon ...the other cat will take it....

Opening or How to waste...ähh...spend the time

Well...I only wanted to go shopping today as I heard in the radio about the opening od a big outletstore just around the corner.

I had about two hours before taking Fabian from school and decided to take a short visit to the outletcenter. That´s what it looked like...

This was just the crowd waiting for the opening...it took more than half an hour until all the VIPs finished their speeches...as I finally got in , I only had about twenty minutes left for shopping - needless to say I could afford any more time - and it would have taken me about an other half an hour to stay to the checkout...
So...one more story for the book - HOW TO WASTE YOUR TIME !

Since a little time we noticed the weight loss of our cat "Rocky".
Well ...he´s 14 so maybe just a sign of getting older??
But today I took him to the vet. Teeth did show some little problems ..but anyway the vet decided to take some blood.
..
The vet just called a few minutes ago... the blood anylysis gives many signs for FIP.

"Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a viral disease of cats caused by certain strains of a virus called the feline coronavirus....
Once a cat develops clinical FIP involving one or many systems of the cat's body, the disease is progressive and is almost always fatal. "

I´ll take him to the vet again tomorrow...to get some antibiotics.

I sadly think time has come to show him our love again and try to make the rest of his life as comfortable as possible .

Two days ago we discovered these guests coming into our house. They took a way just above achildrens room. So we startet to search for the nest - not that easy...could only manage to see it with the cam...

Well...it´s not a very huge one - thanks god...but it´s just the beginning of summer...so I don´t want to imagine how it could look in one or two months...

So we decided to NOT keep it...I do prefer to open the childrens windows too! ;-)

Yesterday someone came and no it seems as if he did a good job...can only still see a few wesps trying to get into their old nest...will keep watching .

Well...I did not plant it...and I´m not sure how I got it...at this place last year I put some hollyhocks seeds...but here´s what nature did...

I could not say I really love Foxglove...but I like country gardens and this would fit...but as they are toxic and I prefer to take care for my boys I decided not to have foxglove in the garden...I´m sorry...as normally I can´t throw away any plants...to honour it I took those pics above.

Sunday again - fleamarket time again!
Today I saw those nice planted chairs...I really love them! I do have some bowls to use...but no old chair..so lets go for chair hunt lol.

I found some nice old rusty tins, a spongebob game and shirt for the boys, and...

two more wonderful skulls! This makes my Halloween collection grow! ;-))

I started this mother´s daywith a visit to the fleamarket...Kids stayed at some friends last night cause we went to a birthday party. Hubby still was asleep so I had to spend the time. See some of my finds on the pic. A wonderful old wooden box...a box for handkerchies - I do already have two similar boxes -
a little box with vintage christmas ornaments, the enamel strainer and a skull ashtray...well...we do not smoke...and this ashtray was never used before...I thought it is a wonderful Halloween decoration...

I also got some soccer shirts and a game for the boys.

Back home I got those wonderful flowers and paintings and a little treasury box for Mother´s day.

Outside in the garden...

The first strawberries are getting a soft shine of red...

And the Oriental poppy start´s blooming.

And here´s what I found yesterday...well...that´s nature... and I think our cats do enjoy having a garden now...

wooden ladder

As the show is over now, I have more time to spend in the garden ;-)

Today I took the old wooden ladder from my grandmother. After she left I kept this ladder and I always loved the paint on it telling about all the work done with it.

A few days ago I asked hubby about the ladder and he told me we didn´t have it anymore...but I just found it and today I found a place for it...

I just love it!

And I also love my Iceland poppy... I bought one last year and this year I have tons of it ;-) But as I love - that´s no problem! ;-)

I´m so happy to be online again...the router ( I guess) isn´t working again and hubby is to busy with work and can´t manage to fix it...but sitting in the cellar right now ( behind me the wasching mashine is working and working...) I just take a minute to blog.

We are leaving tomorrow for the show Teddybaer Total. The show will be saturday and sunday so we will be back late on sunday. And I´m not sure when I´ll be able to blog again...

I already prepared the update of my homepage...but will wait until next week....

Fleamarket finds

We had a wonderful sunny Easter Sunday yesterday .

First the kids went...no...they did run outside for the easteregg hunt.
My PIL´came for breakfast and later we went for a walk and the boys still found more eggs ;-)
We spend the day in the garden and did enjoy the sun doing nothing.
Today after breakfast I was allowed ;-))) to visit the fleamarket. Here are some of my finds...
a wonderful old suitcase, old miniature scale, some old dices , funels...and a children sewing machine.

Today we visit my P-i-L again - so wishing you all one more sunny day!

Today I took the time for lawn mowing the first time this year.

I just noticed that my Pasque Flower is blooming.

The Postman brought me a parcel from far away...a birthday present I gave myself lol... some really cute old little shoes...

Aren´t they just wonderful????

And they do fit into my decoration perfectly!

Sunny day...but I think I did enough of gardening today and have to continue my bears...

Got my parking voucher and stuff from Teddybaer Total today...that reminds me to get crafty!

Birthday

Yesterday it was my birthday.

We had a party from Saturday to sunday with friends and neighbours and had much fun. Also much food...I gueess we still have enough to eat for the whole week...

At midnight they were singing me "happy birthday and I got lots of wonderful presents...

Not only kids do love those balloons...I think it´s a super cute idea ...

I got wonderful flowers...just a few of them...

And lots of new stuff to read..

The party ended about 5am in the morning...at 8.30 my parents called and I wasn´t really able to speek that well..still felt a bit drunk ( psssst... ;-) ) and very very tired....

So it was a quiet birthday...a bit of chilling in the garden - I had wonderful sunny weather for my birthday...and we finished the day having a Peking duck at a chinese restaurent...which took three hours. It was a wonderful day.

( But I still have to do the cleaning.....)

I guess today is the sunniest and warmest day of this year...22°C...but I´m just spending my time inside doing lots of cleaning.
Is it only with my three boys, or is it normal you clean in the morning while they are at school and if they are home again it only takess a few hours ( one may be enough) and it looks much worse than before.....
And let them play outside doesn´t really help....tryed it...so they come in every 5 minutes to get something to play with...or to show to friends...or to fill water in something...oops...forgot to put off the shoes...ooops...some water on the floor...oops...some sand on the floor...etc
Anyway...today I did a complete cleaning..( ok...windows will follow next week lol) ...
Tomorrow I´ll have to prepare the food for the evening...soon my sister in law will be visiting us and in the afternoon there will be the party to celebrate into my birthday on sunday.
While cleaning today I also did some (re-)decorating...

Ah....and yesterday I took a little time to create this new sign...

I just finished two more bears - wow ---I´m really proud of me being so crafty at the moment, as there are only about two weeks left til the Teddybaer Total...

But I Still have to "age" the new ones...so here´s a sneak peek of the last bear I finished last week.

I nearly did run out of my prefered fabric...but today I just got some new...so...let´s keep on be crafty !

I finished three more bears today...but had some interruption when my neighbour called me from work to take her son from school because he had a little accident. He fell and hurt his upper lip which extremly bled. And his teeth did also hurt. So I took him home...teeth seemed to be ok...but will call her later to hear what it looks like now.
About midday we had a demonstration from the kindergarden. It was for more time, more contribution and more education for the children. We had a meeting with our mayor and gave him our "lists of wishes".

Back home I spend some time with the boy´s homework, learning...

and finally now (hubby, Leon and Fabian are out for soccer) I find the time to blog and show the next sneak peek.

I hope tomorrow there will be a bit more sun to take pictures of the other two new bears.

Now preparing the dinner...looking forward to a TV evening...watching "Germany´s next Topmodel" and of course PRISONBREAK.

It doesn´t really feel like spring. We had snow in the morning..it´s cold and about an hour before we had hail.

We´ve been to a chinese restaurant yesterday...here´s what my Fortune cookie was telling:

The fleamarket at the kindergarden yesterday was fun and we had a good sale.

I´m not sure if I´m getting a cold again...but I spend the rest of the day in bed yesterday not feeling well.

What a busy day again...first doing lots of laundry...doing my fitness at the gym...been shopping...taking boys from school and kindergarten...cooking...cleaning....cleaning the shed...some gardening...preparing for a flea market at the kindergarden tomorrow...and finally taking pictures of new creatures...

So here´s the newest peek...

Hubby just left as he has to work the whole evening...so if I´m not to tired ( watched Prison Break last night) I may cut out some more bears and start sewing...

As I said...there will be a fleamarket at the kindergarden tomorrow....I have lots of clothes from the boys...and some toys.
Dennis found a sesamestreet mobile phone and told me some days ago it´s for babies and he doesn´t need it anymore and wants to sell it...ok...but since we tried new batteries he decided to still keep it.
By cleaning the shed we took his first bike and a roller ...but...no way..he want´s to keep the roller...ok. So maybe it´s better to take those things without the help of the kids ?!?!?

Oh...that reminds me I have to make a cake for tomorrow....but first I´ll have just a cup of coffee -

As we had finished gardening yesterday we went for a little walk. And what we found was this pure old elephant resting at the side of the street....

Today I visited the fleamarket again...found some clothes and a book for the boys and this wonderful old suitcase. I love the old used look of it.

I already have some of those old small suitcases...but I will also offer them at the next teddy bear show...

It´s raining today...Leon has a soccer game today and later we are looking forward to go bowling with our neighbours ( that´s what we decided while bowling on the Wii on friday..).
