Thank you & 70

First I have to say THANK YOU to Erika -
today her "Thank you" for joining her Giveaway arrived.

Yesterday it was my Fathar-in law ´s 70th birthday.
We had much fun and I think he was really happy too. With 5 children there now are 9 grandchildren...
For me the keyboarder they had wasn´t that great...but maybe he was for some older guests *ggg*... anyway with the music some of the kids were playing and with a little show it was fun.
The "show" was prepared by hubby, one of his brothers and his sister...they did a Quiz ( Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?) and in this quiz there were lots of photos from their father´s live.

So today is just a bit of chilling...tomorrow we have to get up early for a soccer cup of Leon...

Fasching

Today the kindergarden is having "Fasching"...maybe better known as carnival.
Snow is all gone...but it still doesn´t look like spring...
We had a nice weekend -boys stand with my PiL -and we went to a Pub with live music with some friends...having fun...dancing...drinking..lol...later some other friend came and we´ve been a group of ten.
At about 3 in the morning this pub closed and we jumped over to an other...it was a gay pub...but who cares? *g* we left at about 4.30 in the morning...and so the sunday was just a chilling day .
But....I was busy sewing.... ( but still nothing really finidhed to show).

Cats

Today I just want to show my cats.
They are 13 this year.
The red one is called Gordon,
the other one is called Rocky.
Rocky was the first one - he was a present from DH.
Just a few months later we decided to look for a second cat...and one day we got Gordon.
He was quiet too young but we took him from the animal shelter.
We treated them as they were our kids..lol..took hundreds of pictures, played with them all the time...
I have to say it became less and less...and then the boys came...
But the cats - even older - were ok with that..
They enjoyed their living together.
The boys weren´t very interested in the cats.
But this changed in the last few years...know the boys often play with them or just stroke them.
And as we now have the house the cats also enjoy the outside living.

Spend two hours

at the doctor today.
As finally he got the results of my CT I had to visit the doctor again today.
This means hurry up in the morning to get Fabian and Dennis just in time to School/kindergarden and than hurry to the doc...I´ve been there just in time quarter to eight...already five other waiting there!
So I had much time to read...
I´m actually reading:
It´s my third book of Sophie Kinsella I´m reading...I already had "Can you keep a secret?" and "Confessions of a shopaholic".
I really enjoy reading the english books...and those by Sophie Kinsella are really easy to read.
Back to the doc...after two hours it was finally my turn...so in five minutes I let me know that in fact there is a (small) Herniated Disc. Now ( once again) I´ll have to get some physio therapy.
Back home I found some first little signss of spring in the garden...
...and my witch-hazel ( Hamamelis ) is showing her beautyful red too.

A week

without blogging...sorry...but I wasn´t really in the mood for...and the boys had no school so we spend the time together.
From time to time I do have trouble with my back...it started some years ago..but after a while it was always getting better...I think it was radiopaqued some time ago...and with three kids I think its no wonder at all...but as it was worse again last week I decided to go to the doc ( I normally used to get a syringe and some painkillers from the Orthopedist...) so now I went to an other doc here and he wanted me to have a CT to see if there´s a Herniated Disc.
I do have the CD with the pictures of the Ct but can´t see anything...I´m now waiting for the result...the doc still hasn´t got it..than we will see...
So I also forgot to show what I found at the fleamarket and ebay a week ago..
And some more spring bulbs...

Last weekend...

Let me first start with some spring flower accents I brought into our home...
Friday it was Leon´s ( my oldest son) 10th birthday.
He was sooo excited...he hardly could sleep...we usually do decorated the room with balloons...while the boys are asleep...but he wake up..."I see you Dad!"...well...anyway... but watching us after midnight with the balloons didn´t stop him from waking uo early in the morning! But that was just ok as it still was a schoolday.
I was feeling a bit sick...don´t know why...eaten something wrong the day before I guess...so as usually for bithdays we then went to the kitchen and he enjoyed his cake, cards and presents.

After school, my PIL cameand we had lunch together...than his friends - 7 !! - arrived...so with our boys we had 10 boys hungry for cake and party!
Leon wanted to have those funny little games so we had "Schokokuss-Wettessen"...

Most of them brought their nintendo ds so we also had some - quiet - nintendo time...
In the evening we had pizza...those boys really were hungry lol...and later some cinema at home as we watched "Asterix at the olympic games".
Did I tell that all of his friends were sleeping here ???
I think it was about ten as they get ready for sleeping...but the party was still going on...ok...we gave them some "pyjama-party-fun" but after an hour we really wanted them to be calm and sleep...as I was sick in the morning I really got tired and went to bed ...I think half past eleven...hubby still was watching for the party...and after midnight he decided all was ok and also went to bed....the next I remember was that there was hubby telling them to turn off the nintendos...he told me later this was at about 4 !!!...at 4:16 I heard them running and shouting...so I get up and had a word with them...it worked...but the first get up at 8 in the morning....the last at 8:30...guess how WE felt???....Ok...we had breakfast and an other little game and than we wanted them to go outside until their parents came...
I´m usually not that kind of tired ...but yesterday it was time for naptime...lol...
